Hi I am Techno. Me and my friend Morpheus have a video of us singing (above)some Christmas carols. We went to the High rise retirement home in Greenville. We sang songs with the children in 5th grade classes in Greenville.

Do you know how to sing the whole Mr. Grinch song? These kids do. One girl got enough bravery to stand up in front of her whole school and talk about Mr. Grinch the song.
This is what she said, "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch is a Christmas song that was originally written and composed for the 1966 cartoon special How The Grinch Stole Christmas!. The lyrics were written by Theodor "Dr. Seuss" Geisel, the music was composed by Albert Hague, and the song was performed by Thurl Ravenscroft. The song's lyrics describe the Grinch as being foul, bad-mannered and sinister using increasingly creative metaphors and synonyms, beginning with the opening line "You're a mean one, Mister Grinch". The song has six verses". She wasn't the only one that did work. The 5th and 6th grade choir also sang the whole song and the song, Reindeer On The Roof. The 5th and 6th grade band also did stuff. They played 12 Days of Christmas, Jingle Bells, My Dreidl and more. Well I hope you liked my post.

For Christmas, Mrs. Abernethy got us Techno Tiger t-shirts and sunglasses. The sunglasses were orange, white, or yellow with black stripes. We all liked what we got from Mrs.A. We wore them all day and at recess we made a snowman and we put our sunglasses on him.

Caroling comes only once a year at Christmas time for all to hear! The Techno Tigers and the other fifth graders love caroling. This winter we went to the Greenville High-rise. Of course we sang Christmas songs! We do know that a lot of people liked are wonderful singing. We walked so it was pretty cold! I like caroling. It makes people feel good. I think everyone should do it more often!

Mrs. Abernethy's class learned about the 50 states. They did a project on them, using a program Glogster. They practiced learning the states and capitals by playing games, singing songs, and doing fun papers. Their favorite song is called 50 States in Rhyme. It names all of the states alphabetically. One of the games they play is on the Smart Board. You have to drag the state to the right place on the map. There's another one where you have to click on the right place on the map. Mrs. A's Math Monsters

What do you do in math class? Hello!! I am Techno Tiger. I watch Mrs. Abernethy's 19 Math Monsters in math class. They look like they always have have fun. They learn about sorting data, integers (negative numbers), fractions and much more. Every week they have a tech day. That is when they all make videos and do a lot of stuff with technology. They also use Turning Point clickers to work on Study Island as a class. They are all very good friends and they look like they always have a good time. The work they do looks challenging and fun. Most of the time I am watching from the sidelines, but sometimes I get to sit with them while they work! They play the 24 game too. There is even a video of me playing it with Morpheus! (See the Morpheus Fortuna entry to learn about him.) I like the Math Monsters. Thanks for reading!

I have Thanksgiving at Cylee's house!!!!

Hi,I went to Cylees house for Thanksgiving it was sooooo fun we watched football,we played hide and go seek with her littel cousins Alley and Billy.I met a new friend too her name was steelers bear.Cylee also made me a cool lookin bracelet.She was right she does have a lot of fish and that is because one of the fish in her fish tank has babies every 23 days!!!Well the turkey was well done but it was awsome like that.I really had fun!!

Hi im Techno Tiger and im talking about my friend Hershey! Hershey is a gunia pig she is also the oldest pet! She eats gunia pig food, carrots, and apples even though she chews on everything. All the students love all the pets and Hershey. Hershey is also friends with Lilly! Now im going to go play with Hershey!

All About Lily

Hi,I'm Techno Tiger and I'm going to introduce my sneaky little friend Lily!

I call her sneaky because the word ferret means theft. She has a big cage that has two levels. She drinks water and eats cat food. She sleeps in a hammock in a furry little ball. We give her baths in the sink with soap. Lily is white, has, red eyes, and is long and skinny. Lily is a joy to have in our classroom. She also brings laughter to us all.

Pajama News Day

Mrs. A's Techno Tigers are reading the newspaper on Friday, October 16. They earned a Pajama day by filling up the party popcorn jar for good work and good behavior. Check out some of the cool stories in today's paper.

1. A woman being driven around in a stretch Hummer limo in Ohio, stopped at a coat store. She said she won the lottery and would pay everybody's bill up to $500. It was a hoax and her lie started a riot.
